VICE News Reel

As Senior Graphics Editor at VICE Media Group, I developed charts, maps, and infographics for over 1,000 episodes of "VICE News Tonight" and VICE News special reports.

Here is a selection of some of the data visualization and mapping graphics I made during my time at VICE.

Maps & Geospatial Data

From street-level maps to worldwide panoramas, I've made hundreds of detailed map graphics. I have extensive experience interpreting geospatial data, especially data regarding territories, voting counties and congressional districts.

Graphics Templates

At VICE News, I developed and managed a library of motion graphics templates used company-wide, which established visual consistency and maintained the VICE brand across shows.

Data Integrity

In VICE's control room, I did quality control checks on tens of thousands of graphics across multiple productions. I know the responsibility of publishing information to the public, and I've seen the legal consequences for inaccuracy.

My discerning eye for data has prevented countless errors from airing on live television. Infographics require precision and accountability, and I ensure all my deliverables are verifiable and when necessary, correctly sourced.
